Two years have passed since I first announced Eradity. As you may have noticed already, lots have happened since. Many of you are asking where the company stands today, and where we're heading. Hopefully, this article will help bring some clarity.
The mission of Eradity is to support companies in the transition to digital twin based product lifecycles. The Digital Twin is a key concept in digital transformation that can help you discover new business models, speed-up innovation, and reduce costs and lead times. It has a wide range of applications across a product's lifecycle. At Eradity, we're talking about a Twin Lifecycle that includes solutions for product development, manufacturing, supply chain, and for the product during utilization.
The process we use with our customers to achieve this is a simple three-stage process. It's designed to help you identify real business value and realize changes that truly matter. The first stage of this process is called Explore and is all about building awareness of concepts, benefits, and possibilities. In this stage, we offer seminars and workshops, aiming at starting thought processes and getting conversations going. The second stage is called Design. The focus of this stage is process design and strategies. Here we assess current situations and help identify improvements and opportunities for the future. The last stage, Innovate, is focusing on finding and implementing the right tools and solutions. It is in this stage you will start to innovate your products and processes according to the specifications of the Design stage.
Since Eradity is a small business, it would have been impossible for us to provide all of this on our own. Hence we've established a growing network of service and solution providers that we collaborate with. This partner network helps us provide expertise and tools for the various applications of the digital twin based product lifecycle and is an essential part of our strategy onward. We believe that collaboration between customers, service providers, vendors, and tools, is an absolute necessity for long term success in digital transformation, and we're continuously looking for new partners who share this belief.
